The design combines a traditional satchel with modern twists, complimented by solid brass saddlery fittings including 8 solid brass feet.

 

The billets used throughout the bag are of my own design.

 

Internally the bag has a detachable torch that can be also carried on a belt, it has a keying that clips inside and two internal pockets for carrying stationary items and a small appliance such as a credit card machine. 

 

The laptop pocket has a separate removable RFID laptop protector. The briefcase also has a further 2 pockets on the front of the bag and 1 full width back pocket – making it 7 layers thick in part to hand stich! 

 

The ergonomic design of the shoulder pad was adapted from a design that I have seen used on both a rucksack and a modern sports bag, it allows the carrying load to be spread over a larger area and also makes it less likely to slip off the shoulder.
